About me
I have worked as a florist and as a landscaper for a construction crew. I have a green thumb, I've worked for two organic farms and as a grocery and produce stocker in a Co-op. In 2005 I studied abroad in Florence, Italy where I focused my energy on painting, jewelry and art history. I have always loved all kinds of art which is probably why I have a hard time focusing on one specific medium and also why I have so many crafty interests and inclinations. In 2007 I graduated from St. Lawrence University with a B.A. in Fine Arts, and Sociology and a minor in European Studies. If I had one wish it would be to live on a farm and be almost entirely self-sustaining (I throw in the "almost" because I love coffee and chocolate and I will not move out of New England so that I can grow my own).

These pieces were meant to be seen together. Below we see a girl, asleep in her bed and to the right we see her dream sequence. This is a playful piece, full of bright colors reminding us to "sleep tight, don't let the bed bugs bight!"

This image was inspired by hot summer days and trips to the ice cream stand. The soft pastel makes this piece both whimsical and nostalgic. A slightly different style than most of my work, this piece is a bit abstract which leaves more to the imagination.

Portraits

Illustration
I like to illustrate exagerated versions of people and events that I encounter during my day to day life. I use a variety of mediums in order to capture a specific mood for each illustration. As I photograph more art work I will post it in my galleries and on facebook. I am also available for custom work and can be reached in the contact section.
